Randy Prude

Randy Prude was born in 1952 and has lived in Midland, Texas all his life. He married Miriam in 1973 and they have raised 2 children who have left the nest with careers in Dallas and Austin , Texas.


He graduated from Midland Lee High School in 1970 with a #1 rank after lettering in varsity tennis three years and winning the UIL State Championship in Number Sense and 2nd in slide rule resulting in full scholarships to his chosen schools, Texas A&M and Texas Tech where he graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Chemical Engineering.

He started his career as a Petroleum Engineer with Exxon and quickly decided to start his own oil company in 1980. With blessing from the Lord and hard work, he became a millionaire at the age of 28.


Since then he has served as an active board member of numerous groups and was elected as a County Commissioner in 1999 where he led Midland County to the State’s lowest tax rate and is retiring from office in December 2022 after winning 6 elections.

His passions are entrepreneurship, rescuing children and women from trafficking and planting churches around the world, but especially in small towns in America. He loves everything ethnic and learning voraciously about people everywhere and their stories.
